Ultimate Outdoors
We here at HAWG! Knives are excited about being Eddie Crochin's newest sponsor on Ultimate Outdoors. You can catch his show on several outdoor networks, starting now on Versus Network.  For all of you who see the commercial we'd like to let you know that you can own your own version of any of the knives shown on the screen in our commercial.  It just so happens that our biggest customer and best friend Darrel Moore owns just about one of every model that I make.  Please understand that every knife is made by me one at a time.  So, even though I have patterns I use to lay out the different models, each knife will come out with it's own personality.  I don't use lasers, CNC machines, water jets, or any other kind of modern technology to make my knives.  The blades are cut from bar stock or plate steel, the handles from foot square pieces of material, and the folders liners are from plate titanium.  I grind each blade while it's held in my own two hands.  I do my own heattreating, and my own kydex sheaths.  Leather sheaths we buy ready made to fit the knife.  It's then water formed for a perfect fit.  I use four steels, ATS 34, CPM S30V, CPM S 60V, and CPM S 90V.  I'll not go into each one here, but I can field questions on the phone or by email.  Needless to say, these are some of the highest quality steels available to the knifemaker today.

Since I am the only one in my shop, I'm limited in how many knives I can make.  For that reason, I normally do not have a large stock of knives already made to sell.  I make the knife when an order comes up.  However, there are times when I do make knives not on order, like when I get a particular idea for a knife that I've not made before, or when we return from a knife show with knives not sold.  Please understand, though, that I have sold every knife I have put up for sale.  But, do not dismay, I will get you a knife if you so desire!

All this said, we are happy to be working with Eddie and are crazy with anticipation about what the future will bring now that we are bringing HAWG! Knives to a much larger audience than we've ever imagined.  Hope I'm up for it!  Mike Franklin, Hawgman

Hawg Broadhead!
webassets/heattreat.jpg
The ultra-strong solid titanium broadhead will outlast any other broadhead you have ever used.

That's right.  This titanium broadhead is not just coated.  It's heatreated, solid titanium that's .062 or 1/16 inch thick. and comes in two sizes:  large is 1.250+inches and weighs 110 grains; small is 1.025 inch and weighs 108 grains.  Compare these to your other blades of .015 to .030.  These will outlast and outperform any of them. Also available are heavier broadheads that weigh 125 grains for crossbow users.  Because they are handmade, each one is slightly different; however, each package of three includes heads that are matched in weight. With these broadheads, you never have to use a field tip again--virtually indestructable.  The only way you will need to replace these is if you lose your arrow.  In our tests, we shot them through 3/4 inch OSB board and even through both sides of a steel barrel.  They held up through multiple tests!
